U. S. Census Bureau 2010


Led a Telecommunications LAN Infrastructure
team in preparation for the 2010 census.


  • WhirlWind upgraded the entire network infrastructure to support the 2010 data and performance requirements.  This was an effort to support the new fiber optics backbone between all the major Census locations.  WhirlWind was able to stand up 22 new sites for Census.  This allowed for an accurate count of the population.

Infrastructure Hardening;
Client had a high-risk rating.


WhirlWind Technologies conducted IV&V, proactively identified this issue and worked with them, taking them from high risk to acceptable rating.

U.S. Air Force


Program Management Office (PMO) development and support; Client was required to streamline acquisition and financial management processes.


WhirlWind Technologies effectively implemented Agile tools and methods to PMO Business Operations and conducted process analysis of Financial Services Centers. Resulted in speed to acquisitions and capabilities delivery, as well as, identified savings for financial operations.

U. S. Census Bureau 2020


Approximately six Census Bureau systems were at risk for OIG non-compliance.


WhirlWind Technologies worked with a client to take them to an acceptable rating. We reverse engineered to get proper documentation without taking time from their engineers day to day operations of tasks. These systems were in compliance, and were used for the 2020 Census.
