WhirlWind Case Study: Architecting and Integrating Complex Enterprise Data Infrastructure

WhirlWind Technologies LLC (Whirlwind) was successful in enabling the Census Bureau to meet the objectives of the Economic Census, 2020 Census and related programs. This was accomplished through changes to design, implementation and management of Decennial Census Systems including MOJO Control System, the Integrated Computer Assisted Data Entry (iCADE) system, Census Image Retrieval Application (CIRA), and CEN36 applications. These critical large-scale systems needed to be engineered to perform the critical work of the Economic Directorate.
