About WhirlWind Technologies
WWT was founded in 2009 with the idea to not only create enterprise value for all clients we engage, but also to create positive social impact in our communities. This purpose-driven strategy has been the guiding force behind the business, the “brain child” of CEO and founder KoJo Addae-Mintah.
Following its first subcontract providing network support to the U.S. Census Bureau in 2010, WWT served as an integrator for data capture and IT infrastructure in support of the population censuses in Kenya and Bangladesh. This successful engagement positioned WWT for its first prime contract at the U.S. Census Bureau, which the company has now supported for over a decade. In that time, WWT’s data and IT infrastructure expertise has also led to trusted partnerships with the Department of Defense, Department of Commerce, NASA, and other federal agencies.
WWT believes a strong internal culture is critical to helping our clients and communities succeed. About our ISO 9001:2015 certification
The International Standards Organization (ISO) monitors more than 13,000 standards; The one that is synonymous with quality is ISO 9001:2015. WWT obtained its certification in June 2021. Being certified to this standard means that WWT provides products and services that consistently meet the requirements and expectations of customers and other relevant interested parties in the most efficient manner possible. A corporate policy on quality is in place and is managed by a newly established PMO that ensures the guiding principles of the ISO are used to create efficiencies in aligning and streamlining processes throughout the organization.
